About Me

I am a fully qualified Integrative Psychotherapist and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP, membership number: 00920584) and as such am guided by its ethical framework for the counselling professions. For further details please see: http://www.bacp.co.uk . I have worked as a counsellor at Riverside Counselling Service, and at No5 Young People’s Counselling Service alongside my private practice.

You may have noticed my unusual name, which is pronounced “Dasha”. Although I am British, I was born abroad, giving me some insight into the experience of being seen as an ‘other’. Partly because of this, I have always been drawn to so-called “outsiders”, and to embracing diversity in all its forms.

For more information on my style of therapy, please see “The Way I Work“, or do get in touch.
