We begin learning to navigate relationships from the moment we are born, and as we journey through life, our connections grow and transform with the skill that we bring to them.
All relationships are built on skilled communication, yet the daily pressures of life and the traumas that come with it can take a toll on our capacities to communicate effectively. We may naturally build up defences, habits and core-beliefs that, if not addressed, can leave us stuck in difficult relational patterns.
Therapy can create a unique space where feelings and experiences can be explored at a pace and in a way that everyday life does not easily allow.
As well as my work with individuals, I offer therapy sessions to those in close relationships (e.g. intimate partners, family, friends, and colleagues) where my goal is to facilitate open and honest conversations between you, so that you might gain understanding and clarity on how to move forward with your lives.*
I strive to make my practice welcoming to those from all backgrounds and and I approach my work from an open-hearted way in which I aim to celebrate and affirm difference and diversity. Regardless of your background, identity, or experiences, I am committed to creating a warm, inclusive environment where every individual feels seen, heard, and valued. Your uniqueness is not only respected, but celebrated as an integral part of our therapeutic journey.
